‘Department of Chemistry’ was established in 2018 with the prime aim to offer a Quality education to the students in Chemical Science branch.Our department is doing exceptionally well with regards to the well-furnished and dynamic teaching methods. As we have a very favourable faculty-to-student ratio, which encourages productive interactions between students and their faculty mentors. This allows the faculty to give personal attention to the academic advancement of the students.The department also provides guidance for the examinations like IIT-JAM and GATE. Department also schedule many Industrial study visit to learn at site. Thus, the department nurtures the students to comprehend the fundamental notions of Chemistry and to implement in the daily life.There are many opportunities for our students to enrich their educational, and research background as well as career opportunities in pharmaceutical companies.

I welcome you all the energetic students to the Department of Chemistry at JSPM’s, Jayawantrao Sawant College of Commerce and Science. Our aim is to provide an environment in which all who work here can thrive, achieve their potential and do the best in chemical science.The department is always excited in conducting various activities and courses for the faculty and students to keep update of advancement in Chemistry. All undergraduates’ students thereby get full opportunity to participate in co-curricular, extra-curricular and social outreach activities leading to aall-inclusive personality development. Now the department is more focusing on sustainable development in Research and Innovation culture among the students.
