Science studies the phenomenon of the natural world. It is being advanced at remarkable speed. It has really changed mankind beyond imagination. In brief, it gives an opportunity to conquer and rule over our surrounding. The basic braches of science are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Mathematics is also used in science to find the relationships and make the observations.
“Physics is the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms.”
“Chemistry is the branch of science concerned with the substances of which matter is composed, the investigation of their properties and reactions, and the use of such reactions to form new substances.”
“Biology is the study of living organisms, divided into many specialized fields that cover their morphology, physiology, anatomy, behavior, origin, and distribution.”
“Mathematics is the abstract science of number, quantity, and space, either as abstract concepts or as applied to other disciplines such as physics and engineering.”
Being the learners we need to know English as the medium of Science. Hence English has a very pivotal role in the development of any science as well as other branches of technology.
In a nutshell, Science is the base of every kind of innovation and all the branches of science are inter-related and inter-dependent.
